I don’t understand this each license has a max of 5 installs. I suppose License A is first used so why not use the 4 left devices from License A instead of License B which is the follow up license of License A. In general I could also mix License A and B as I like and would have spare installs on both licenses!?

Yup it’s a weird question. Plus, is the Surface RT considered a tablet? If so, they would only need one license as you get 5 desktop/laptop licenses, 5 tablet licenses, and 5 phones:

It seems to suggest that RT would needa different license. Therefore the answer should be AAAA
