there are Microsoft Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 Edition Disc 1 / Disc 2, so I think the response will be the option D.DC1 where is the Schema master rol..Please let know yurs thoughts.

windows server 2003 R2 was in x64bit you can check it on wikipedia. And we need to update schema that is on DC1.

Updating the Active Directory schema is an irreversible operation that must be performed on the schema master. The adprep /forestprep command adds Windows Server 2003 R2 object classes and attributes to Active Directory so that they can be used by the operating system, server roles, and applications.
You must update the schema before you upgrade an existing domain controller to Windows Server 2003 R2 (using Winnt32.exe) or before you add the Active Directory domain controller role on a computer running Windows Server 2003 R2 by using the Active Directory Installation Wizard (Dcpromo.exe). Yes the operating system is 64-bit but the adprep.exe on 2003 R2 x64 isn’t 64-bit. You have to use 2008, 2008 R2, or 2012 for the 64-bit version of adprep.exe.

The Windows Server 2012 version of adprep.exe can run on any server that runs a 64-bit version of Windows Server 2008 or later. The server needs network connectivity to the schema master for the Forest, and also to the infrastructure master of the domain where you want to add a domain controller. If either of those roles is hosted on a server that runs Windows Server 2003, then ADPREP must be run remotely. The server where you run ADPREP does not need to be a domain controller: it can be domain joined or in a workgroup.
I would go with Server 2008 and remotely chase Server 2003 for the Schema.

To expand, when you promote a 2012 server to be a DC, it runs adprep (forestprep and domainprep) for you.
