I think that the ability to use AD LDS as an attribute store was removed in 2012 so only C & E are correct (see quick ref table in link)
Its tricky as a lot of documentation I discovered on the web indicates that LDS can be used but this is the latest info I found (Updated: October 29, 2014)and relates to 2012 R2
