A company is terminating an employee for misbehavior.
Which of the following steps is MOST important in the process of disengagement from this employee?

A.
Obtain a list of passwords used by the employee.
B.
Generate a report on outstanding projects the employee handled.
C.
Have the employee surrender company identification.
D.
Have the employee sign an NDA before departing.
None of these seem correct. The REAL correct answer would be “immediately disable all of their accounts.”
D is wrong because you would have someone sign an NDA when they’re hired. If they don’t sign it – they don’t get the job. You can’t force someone to sign an NDA without a court order (or a gun to their head)
C is most likely the correct answer because the ID badge is company property and would be a security threat because the person could theoretically get back into the building even after they’re terminated.

Not a great question.
I think the answer is C. If the employee has ID, then from a security perspective you want to recover that and that is more important than B.
A is something you wouldn’t normally do, ever.
D is out since it is too late to ask them to sign an NDA, you do that at the beginning of their employment or during their employment as needed.

Disable their account. C makes the most sense I guess.
NDA is signed prior hiring, reports are not the most important. Neither is obtain passwords because admin should be able to reset the passwords anyway
