C.
Configure end points to automatically download and install the patches.
D.
Deploy the patch in a lab environment and immediately install it in the production environment.
Q: Which of the following actions should be taken to ensure the patch is

Answer A ensures the patch is installed with minimal downtime.
Although it’s about 100 critical devices they are not saying the patch needs to be installed immediately.

Also, why install a patch in a test environment when you are not going to test it and just install it immediately on the 100 devices anyway.
God knows what problems it will bring on your critical systems making you lose a lot of money.

I dont see why answer D would be better than A, ofc you want to test it, then install it during a MW instead of immediately.

For “a major vulnerability” you can not wait till the next maintenance windows. The next maintenance window could be 3 months away. it has to be implemented immediately.

A major vulnerability needs to be rectified immediately, you cant wait till next maintenance window as Ed said it 3 months away, that would cripple a company
