I believe the Edge Trunk port is only used on “VM’s”, not sure why though.

Edge does not allow the port to be ussed as trunk port.
edge trunk does and is indeed special for VM-purposes where multiple mac-adresses are allowend on the specific port.

The trick to this question is that there is only 3 types of spanning-tree port types in Nexus: edge, network, normal; BUT you can specify that an edge port is of the type: trunk.
So the answer C is correct.
