exhibit shows that there are two untagged ports in that vlan

I’m confused by this question, there’s no correct answer. If you have unteagged ports in a vlan switch won’t let you do delete it, see the below:

ProCurve Switch 2650-PWR(config)# show vlan 10

Status and Counters – VLAN Information – Ports – VLAN 10

    802.1Q VLAN ID : 10
    Name : VLAN10
    Status :

Port Information Mode Unknown VLAN Status
    —————- ——– ———— ———-
    1 Untagged Learn Down
    2 Untagged Learn Down

ProCurve Switch 2650-PWR(config)# no vlan 10
Unable to delete VLAN. (Action will result in some orphaned ports.)
ProCurve Switch 2650-PWR(config)# show vlan 10

Status and Counters – VLAN Information – Ports – VLAN 10

    802.1Q VLAN ID : 10
    Name : VLAN10
    Status :

Port Information Mode Unknown VLAN Status
    —————- ——– ———— ———-
    1 Untagged Learn Down
    2 Untagged Learn Down

It would make sense if ports where tagged then after deleting vlan 10 they would be moved to default vlan (1)
