    I disagree. I think it’s A because the reason listed is exactly -why- it’s nto ethical according to CEH standards and laws in the US and other countries.

    It’s A. You need the Authorization of the owner.
    D doesn’t explain why it is wrong, only the consequences to you (the CEH) personally.

    Of course, in reality, you are likely to give an explanation that includes A and D – “I can’t do this because it is unethical. I need the consent of the account owner. You are asking me to do something illegal. I am not comfortable with this. Is there a different way to go about this?”
