on ASA the firewall is “smart” enough to fudge your work : if you put in masks, it will adjust in processing to make these wildcards at processing. which is a HORRIBLE if you ask me…..if you fudge it, the thing should flash a banner that says “GO BACK TO CLASS NEWB!”
