Again no mentioned if diagnostic tool for soft or hardware. CST is hw-testing tool and cpinfo is software testing tool where all infos are collected in cpinfo and environment can be replicated.
CST is Configuration Summary Tool used on IP appliances AKA Ipsoinfo.
As cpinfo is noted in few documentations I guess that will be official replacement of CST/Ipsoinfo
