    Check that the ‘kdump’ service is running:

    The output should show:
    Kdump is not operational
    Check the configured ‘kdump’ level:

    [Expert@FW]# chkconfig –list kdump

    The output should show:
    kdump 0:off 1:off 2:off 3:off 4:off 5:off 6:off
