Wouldn’t configuring a CPU reservation of this VM and Increasing the Share priority of this 1 VM cause further CPU contention?

Doesn’t seem to be an issue with contention. Since the VM only has 1 vCPU, and we don’t know how many actual CPUs the host has, increasing the shares and/or creating a CPU reservation may have no impact on contention on the host or resource pool. Although, I’m not sure what “CPU Storages” is either.

sorry, I just reread the question…it does actually say contention of the VM in the question. This question doesn’t actually make any sense.
