The size of the aggr1 RAID group shown in the exhibit is 8.
What is the RAID type?

A.
RAID-TEC
B.
RAID-DP
C.
RAID4
D.
RAID0
Explanation:
RAID 6 extends RAID 5 by adding another parity block; thus, it uses block-level striping with two parity blocks
distributed across all member disks.
Figure: Diagram of a RAID 6 setup, which is identical to RAID 5 other than the addition of a second parity blockIncorrect Answers:
D: RAID0 does not use parity,

Hi.
Please, can anybody explain me why RAID-DP is the correct answer?
Looking at the exhibition, if rg consists of 8 disks, there are 2 rg 7+1 with RAID type RAID4.
If anyone can explain mny wrong approach I appreciate.
Thanks

This should be a RAID 4. Since size of aggregate is 8 then it is saying there are 2 RAID 4 groups each with 1 Parity Disk and 7 Data Disks
i am taking my exam in a few days anyone use this material successfully

This question is changed on the exam. Instead of 8 disks they say its 16 disks. So RAID-DP is correct in that case, but if you have practiced this with ONTAP Sim its pretty common sense. If only 8 disks are mentioned i would go for RAID4

I guess it is because RAID-DP says that there have to be two Parity Disks per aggregate and not per Raid Group.
Therefore the answer “RAID-DP” should be correct here.

Forget this, I was too confused, of course Parity Disk are per Raid Group…
So Correct answer should be RAID4
