What should you do from the Management Portal?

You administer a virtual machine (VM) that is deployed to Azure. You configure a rule to
generate an alert when the average availability of a web service on your VM drops below 95
percent for 15 minutes.
The development team schedules a one-hour maintenance period.
You have the following requirements:
+ No alerts are created during the maintenance period.
+ Alerts can be restored when the maintenance is complete.
You want to achieve this goal by using the least amount of administrative effort.

Rules can be created from monitoring page but cannot be disabled/deleted. If you want to disable/delete alert rule, that has to be done from ‘Management Services’ page.
So, unless we have an option ‘Disable the rule from management services page’ to select, deleting endpoint monitor can be a way. But here we don’t have either.

It cannot be B also.. Sorry for that.. 😉

    C is correct.

ITs tempting to look into D but configure has options to change the Virtual Machine Tier , Szie , Avaiablity Set and most importantly set up the Monitoring endpoint.
