    – Single engine Metro has 4 directors.
    – Considering 4 WAN-COM ports being used on each director in the ideal scenario, you will have 4×4 = 16 WAN-COM ports utilized in total which means you will need 16 different IPs. This means the answer can be A or B.
    – Now, considering the subnets – two of the WAN-COM ports can be in the same subnet. This means, you have 16/2 = 8 subnets. Answer is A!

    I think, that here is the question about the total subnets and IPs for cluster (there will also be a Witness server, mgmt ports, WAN COM etc. So the answer is not so simple as 4 ports on 4 directors = 16…
