    Max for a RAID Group is 16 disks. There is a total of 30 disks in the configuration, from which you need to count 4 vault disks, and a spare. That makes 25 available disks. 25>16 so the the RAID group can be made up with its’ maximum, which is 16.

    IMHO. There we are talking about 2xDAEs. The DPE has vault disks and perhaps additional disks. So, it doesn’t matter any calculations in this case, matter is that you can build RAID Group with max 16 disk.
