I believe the answer should be C. having alpha, numeric, special characters and caps

I don’t think C actually has a capital letter, that is a zero and not an O. So B looks like it meets all the requirements. However, I was told the longer the better so in actuality D would really be stronger. IMHO 🙂

The longer is the better, but the more combination of characters is the best. By adding special characters you increase the value of each place holder. If you want the actual formulas as proof http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Password_strength
