Yes the clustering is connecting of computers together to utilize resources of each computer where load balancing is distributing the load across multiple computers. i.e. clustering exchange servers allows exchange to be able have more computing power but load balancing distributes the e-mail to different exchanges

I dont get this. If you’re using multiple servers to distribute the load you would use load balancing. Cluster would provide availability also but only when a primary node fails and the secondary kicks in.

The keyword here is “to increase processing power” which is what exactly “Clustering” does.
