no because the startup, just disables the app to be started automatically upon logged on. You need to remove the service so it doesn’t start up at all.

this has just disabled one service/component, how about the other that is mentioned in the question?

first you type msconfig ///// then you see msconfig.exe….click it
it will take you to the domain where you have the various tools
take note that the questions says disable both ….that the key word …meaning you need to stop it from running upon startup from the SERVICE TAB
YOU DO THIS BY UNCHEKING GENERIC WARE2.0 FROM THE SERVICE TAB
AFTER WHICH YOU GO TO THE STARTUP TAB AND DISABLE IT.
AFTER YOU DO THIS BE SURE OF FIXING THE PROBLEM ABOVE AND GET YOUR FULL MARK
