D is correct. The initiation is usually made by Dashboard or from the CLI (fmw load or fw fetch) which is sent to the fwd process. This is then sent to the CPD process for code generation and code compilation. There isn’t one for validation.

It’s D indeed, the student manual lists the following steps:
Initiation -> Verification -> Conversion -> Code generation and compilation -> CPTA -> Commit
(There is no validation but verification – although it sorta sounds the same to me)
