Okay, I have to correct myself. I deployed a vCenter HA configuration to check this and the common running services in active, passive and witness nodes are the following:
– vmware-vcha
– vmware-vmon
VMON is the parent process for many services, this is required by the VCSA regardless of HA and can be used to start and stop other services as well as reporting/restarting failed services.
VCHA is the HA service.

This. The O+S manual shows that postgres service is not running on witness node. vmon and vcha are running on all three nodes. https://imgur.com/a/zUr21

In my humble opinion:
vmware-vcha
vmware-vpostgres
vmware-vmon > VMware Service Lifecycle Manager
vmware-rbd-watchdog > VMware vSphere Auto Deploy Waiter
vmware-vmon-> life cycle PSC (X)
vmare-rbd-watchdog -> Just for autodeploy (X)
vmware-postgress-> embedded DB
vmware-vcha -> services of HA
Correct is B&D

The DB only runs on two servers. One active the other passive. The third is just a witness to see if the others are available.

VCHA is the HA service, can’t exactly use HA without it…
The following has a great breakdown of the services and there are a few clues scattered about including a screenshot showing the rdb-watchdog is not required
Could not find usable information regarding this, but it looks vcha and vpostgres.

The image from interzoid is the real kicker as well as the tests by a few others.

So I believe I have found an article that points to the answer:
Not a VMWare published article but still has good info:
https://hciandmore.com/2017/11/28/vcenter-high-availability-vcha/
“What services will run on Active node, Passive node and witness.
Active node: All vCenter services
Passive node: only vmware-statsmonitor, vmware-vcha, vmware-vmon, vmware-vpostgres , vcetner services will be stopped.
Witness node: only vmware-statsmonitor, vmware-vcha, vmware-vmon.”

In response to the above the correct answers would be A and D
