    I have an answer of

    366 maximum recovery points,
    30 days retention time
    3 daily backups

I get the 30 days and 3 dailies but I don’t know how we got to 366 maximum backup recovery points. The math doesn’t even add up so I’m obviously missing something

The answer and question are incorrect.

Azure backup lets you set different retention policies for weekly and monthly backups.the feature is called long term retention..

    https://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/blog/new-features-in-azure-backup-long-term-retention-offline-backup-seeding-and-more/

The daily backups will be 30 days.

The backup taken Monday the 31st will be 90 weeks. Since it falls under the monthly retention as the last Monday of the month.

At first, i was thinking the same way you are, but then i reread the question and realized they are just adding the “Monday, January 31” to mislead into choose the 11:00 pm backup, which would happen in the last day of the month at a monday, but then they refer the 9:00 am backup which is schedule for 30 retention days.
So answer is correct at least in my opinion.

But if i missed some of the facts, please feel free to correct me.
