  1. IP Addresses All the hosts in an NLB cluster must have static IP addresses. NLB
    does not support the use of Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and will
    disable the DHCP client on the computers you configure as hosts. Therefore, you
    must be aware of the IP addressing used on the subnet and have appropriate IP
    addresses that you can assign to the hosts and the cluster. If the subnet uses DHCP for
    its other computers, you must have addresses that fall outside of the DHCP scope.
