Dual channel configurations results from the memory controller’s coordination of two memory banks to work as a synchronized set. RAMBUS employs DRDRAM, which is based on a 16 bit channel, which means the dual channel configuration is not an option. You must use two 16bit DRDRAM in the dual channel architecture.
