usb is most cost effective but i guess since its “several TB” it wont fit so you gotta use a NAS. stupid question. there are usb flash drive with 2+ terrabytes you can order from china for 12$. very stupid.

Question isn’t stupid at all, you are misunderstanding it, if you think a $12 “2+ terrabytes you can order from china” is “effective” then you are stupid 🙂

The question came up for me too. It helps if you try to rule out some answers. This is how I would think about it..

“A usb flash drive isn’t worth the risk. It could become corrupted, it could get lost, it’s too slow, etc”

“FCoE is Fibre Channel over Ethernet. It encapsulates Fibre Channel frames over Ethernet networks and allows it to use 10 Gigabit Ethernet networks. I’m looking to back up data.”

“iSCSI is Internet Small Computer Systems Interface. It is an IP-based storage networking standard for linking data storage facilities. It just simply links the facilities”

“NAS is Network Attached Storage. It is a storage device connected to a network that allows storage and retrieval of data from a centralized location for authorized network users. To me, this would make it the best option as, once your data is backed up, it can be viewed on retrieved offsite, that way if your business goes down then you still have access later.”

Hope this helps and good luck on your exam.

Cost effective for terabytes… USB is out of the question, and a SAN is a storage area network, so they would have multiple NAS in a network… The answer is C. NAS
