Not only is this a repeat of a previous question but the answers here are even dumber than the ones before. Whoever put the answers in failed to realize that the numbers associated with each item represents the quantity not some identifying code. Each box represents one item in the list. There are 6 cable locks, one for each laptop in the lab. There are 3 Biometric Scanners, one for each of the Offsite laptops. There are 2 Proximity Badges, which I take to mean Proximity Badge Readers, and since the Lab is Unsecured I assume that there would be one each for the Office and the Datacenter. There are 2 Cipher Locks, which may be overkill with a mantrap and Badge Readers, but I digress, and once again since the Lab is Unsecured I assume that there would be one each for the Office and the Datacenter. This leaves only the Safe for the Office, and the Mantrap and CCTV for the Datacenter. Any questions?

  2. BJ says:

1). An offsite laptop could reside in a home office. A Mantrap? CCTV? Really?
2). The question reads “unsecured lab” so exactly how does a “proximity badge” belong in an “unsecured lab”?
3). “Unsecured lab” calls for biometric swipe on the laptop … but the laptops that are off-site don’t get a biometric swipe? It’s the same device in an unsecured lab and both areas are likely unsecured, but the solution is different. Why?
