    Switch deployed operates the “LAN base feature set” network engineer decides using SDM VLAN template – correct “the VLAN template disables routing” however there is no mention that when the decision was made to use SDM VLAN template the requirement for use of this template the switch requires a reboot for the new template to take effect thus the underlying cause for the CPU spike – CCNP Routing Switch Official cert guide page 50
