    Interesting stuff : http://tspeedtech.com/35/
vSphere HA wil (might) work with mixed vendor CPUs, as it starts VMs in a powered off state
However FT requiring EVC is not compatible

vMotion to a mismatched host won’t work for sure, so does DRS.

The main question is here : Can DRS take into account there are mismatched host ?

D is wrong : as you might have an inbalance between the host with AMD the others with Intel. So at a certain stage you are done with balancing in same CPU vendor.
As vMotion is not possible you have to stop and register the VM on another host. This can only be done if the vmx is not locker or in a powered of state
