  1. Instructor says:

Different CPUs having different CPU features ok, if the lowest CPU feature set is opted for, but different vendors ? AMD versus Intel
    B surely wrong

FT VMs are not possible outside a cluster -> A nok

CPU identification is masked for the Guest OS and a common CPU identification is set by the Kernel. Is activated via the cluster (DRS)
    To me C is valid

D is even more valid, as I surely did vSPhere 4 to vSphere 5 migrations even outside a cluster (provided the same EVC mode is set)

    Final answer D

  2. x86EMT says:

D is wrong, the aim of EVC is to be able to present a common feature set even on host with different CPU features. Its primary aim is not to migrate between different vSphere versions though it is possible.

B should more precisely state CPU features (instead of vendors)
