A would be legit as NSX puts in anti-affinity rules for DRS and thus will separate the VMs. Quoted from above link: “NSX Edge ensures that the two HA NSX Edge virtual machines are not on the same ESX host even after you use DRS and vMotion”
B would be correct as well as this formerly standby VM which was pressed into active duty already has the firewall session information and whatnot.
