    Surely C & D fall off
    : as there is no point upgrading to VMFS5 if you can’t reach 2TB minus some bytes. These VMFS limited sizes factoring the blocksize were the limitation of VMFS3 altogether.

    However choosing between A & B is less evident.
    Someone an explanation why B prevails over A as I haven’t got a clue.
