I do not understand this question. When LIFs are created in a Vserver are the administrator assigns each LIF to a physical home port. If the LIF is an FC or FCoE LIF, the LIF is issued an NPIV WWPN automatically. The physical FC or FCoE port’s physical WWPN is not used in any way.
Identifying WWPNs only applies to two tasks: LUN Mapping to hosts in initiator groups, and zoning on the FC switch.
