      Sani is right.

The key is that the model is simple with a small dataset. Although powerview for multidimensional is now supported, either type Multidimensional model (MOLAP or ROLAP)is not appropriate as the development time and effort is much longer/harder and best suited to complex situations. You definitely would NOT need multidimensional with ROLAP configured as this is absolute overkill given the small size of the data. Tabular with Direct query is arguably overkill as well but given they didnt specify anything related to latency it is still an acceptable option.

Tabular and PowerPivot offer the fastest and simplest way to develop for this situation.
