I’m not sure. I would use 4 images therefore eliminating the need to install any additional roles. Converting between core and full, and installing additional features takes up to much time. I don’t know if I’m misinterpreting the question.

Agreed, the correct answer is A. This question is not asking about the least administrative effort, but about the minimum number of images required. Only 1 image is required.

I suppose their thinking is “minimum” = 1 because you can add the other stuff later. Pretty silly.
Realistically it should be 3. It’s not hard to create separate images, and it makes the whole deployment process simple and easy.
