   Table 1. DB2 authentication types
   Type Description
   SERVER Authentication takes place on the server.
   SERVER_ENCRYPT Authentication takes place on the server. Passwords are encrypted at
   the client machine before being sent to the server.
   CLIENT Authentication takes place on the client machine (see Dealing with
