An SQL database administrator has a space concern on a VNX array. The database LUN is configured using standard provisioning on a Windows Server 2008 host.
What can the storage administrator do to solve the space concern without disruption to the users?

A.
Create a larger LUN, use VDM migration to migrate the data, and extend the LUN on the host.
B.
Expand the thick pool LUN online without disruption.
C.
Create a larger LUN, use VNX LUN migration to migrate the data, and extend the LUN on the host.
D.
The LUN cannot be expanded or migrated without disruption to the users.
I have the same idea. C

I choose B.
Expanding and shrinking pool LUNs
VNX has the capability to expand pool LUNs, with a few simple clicks, making the expanded capacity is immediately available.
For a thick LUN, the pool must have enough storage for the expansion to succeed, whereas for a thin LUN the storage does not need to be available. It is important to note that you cannot expand a pool LUN if it is part of a data protection or LUN-migration operation.
