   A financial prospect is concerned about the cost to conduct “forklift” upgrades to the latest technologies. With their traditional NAS storage solution, they are forced to upgrade storage technologies (controllers and heads) every 4 to 5 years due to large increases in maintenance support costs imposed by the storage vendor. With the arrival of next-generation CPUs or next-generation density drives, they would also like investment protection.
