Double-sided vPC: If the access switch platform also supports vPC, as does the
Cisco Nexus 5000 series, vPC can be configured on both the aggregation and access
layers. This configuration allows a maximum of 16 links to be bundled into a single
vPC between the aggregation and access switches. In this type of design, vPC can
also be used toward dual-homed servers on the access layer. Eventually, this results in
having all links from the server all the way up to the aggregation layer actively forwarding
    traffic.
