Which of the following is an important advantage of protocol layering? (Choose two)

A.
Layering adds to the fragmentation of the data
B.
Increases protocol operational efficiencies.
C.
Isolates changes in lower layers from upper layers.
D.
Controls distribution of IP addresses.
E.
Simplifies protocol functionality.
The quoted answer everywhere is B,C. In my opinion C and possibly E are true. B is totally false. Layering actually makes TCP/IP much *less* efficient, but C is important. Also, E is true because IP doesn’t have to be complex enough to know about physical layer, ports, etc.
