Windows Patch Tuesday occurred yesterday and the new patch fixlets are not seen in the
IBM Tivoli Endpoint Manager (TEM) server. This new content has always been visible during
prior patch cycles. How is the server checked to see if it is gathering content from the
Internet correctly?

Browse to http://MyTEMServerURL:52311/rd and click the Gather Status Page link to
verify that no sites are in a failed state.

Run the TEM diagnostic tool to ensure the Webserver component is running. This
component is responsible for all Web-based connectivity.

Content is only gathered once a week by default to conserve bandwidth. Run the
force_gather command to manually kick off the process.

D.
Check the gatherdb log located at Program Files\BigFix Enterprise\BES
ServertGatherDBData to find information regarding the gatherDB database.
