why does the Data Domain available capacity remain the same?

A customer has EMC NetWorker integrated with Data Domain. They noticed that they have incorrectly
configured their NetWorker Browse and Retention policies for all currently defined clients. This issue was

Domain system.

directory decreased in size by several hundred GB. However, the available space on the Data Domain
remained unchanged.
