The times displayed when editing or creating a schedule, as well as the times displayed in most of the Avamar Administrator GUI displays, are in the local time zone of the editing/creating Management Console Avamar Administrator client session. There are several other time “zones” used by the various Avamar components. These include:
•The time basis for the Avamar server utility node, including the administrator server, is the local time where the Avamar server resides.
•The time basis for the Avamar storage nodes and the administrator server database and reports is GMT.
•The time basis for Avamar clients and avscc running on the client is the local time of the client. The time displayed in most client log files is the local time of the client, however, there are some client log files that are time/date-stamped in GMT.
