    Unfortunately as the Metsstore option is not there. I would choose C –> Metadata

    This is a tricky question. Answer is B.
    Table Schema is metadata that is stored in metastore, not in Metadata nor in Zookeeper, so answer c and d are incorrect.
    The remaining choices are A or B.
    Hive stores all its metadata information in an embedded Derby database. This is default database. The disk storage location of this database is determined by the hive variable javax.jdo.option.ConnectionURL . By default this location is ./metastore.db
    That makes correct answer as B. Stored along with the data in HDFS
