    It’s definitely 3 seconds!

If a heartbeat is not received from the primary appliance within the specified time (default value is 15 seconds), the primary appliance is declared dead.

If you reduce the deadtime configuration to the minimum 6 seconds then it will be 1 second which can be shown with the controller CLI command “show service highavailability”

Just checked this in a Hands-on-Lab environment (HOL-SDC-1603). If you set the declare dead time to 15s (the default), the poll interval is 3s . If you set the declare dead time to 10s, the poll interval is 2s. If you set the declare dead time to 6s (minimum recommended), the poll interval drops to 1s. You can even make the poll interval go up to 7s by setting the declare dead time to 30 seconds.

There is no correct answer to this question without first stating the declare dead time.

BTW, CLI command is “show service highavailability”.
