    C

When a block from a read operation is initially inserted into the Flash Pool, it is assigned a neutral value in a temperature map of the SSD cache. If it is accessed, its temperature increases from neutral to warm to hot. Hotter blocks that are accessed more frequently are tracked, while colder blocks with less frequent access are not. The eviction process doesn’t come into play until the Flash Pool reaches a near full state and needs to create space to cache incoming data. At that point an eviction scanner is enabled and the most frequently accessed blocks are retained while less frequently accessed blocks are evicted from the cache.
