If you do not specify Path then the command places the file in your current folder. The recommended file name extension is .wfw.
.wfw seems to be recommended, not compulsory. That would make A a valid option.

Go into advanced firewall settings in the control panel of the reference computer. Export an xxx.wfw file. You can import this file into a GPO.
