Your network contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com. All domain controllers run Windows Server 2012 R2. The domain contains two domain
controllers. The domain controllers are configured as shown in the following table.
The Branch site contains a perimeter network.
For security reasons, client computers in the perimeter network can communicate with client computers in the Branch site only. You plan to deploy a new RODC to
the perimeter network in the Branch site. You need to ensure that the new RODC will be able to replicate from DC10. What should you do first on DC10?

A.
Enable the Bridge all site links setting.
B.
Run the Active Directory Domain Services Configuration Wizard.
C.
Create an Active Directory site link bridge.
D.
Create an Active Directory site.
Explanation:
A)
Site link transitivity is controlled by the Bridge all site links option on the properties pages of transport folders (such as IP or SMTP) in the Active Directory Sites
and Services snapin. Site link transitivity is enabled by default.
B)C)
If you cannot place a writable Windows Server 2008 domain controller in the nearest site to the RODC, RODC replication depends on a site link bridge between the
site links that contain the site of the RODC and the site of the writable Windows Server 2008 domain controller.
D)AD Site not readed for RODC

Same question as #1, but with completely different answer choices in both. Can anyone confirm the correctness of either.

I was today on the exam. The questions are totally new. I have seen only 3-4 questions from the dumps here. I will wait 2-3 months until we have the new questions before trying again

My exam consisted of about 60% questions from the v7 dump, and 40% from this new dump. These new questions are indeed in the exam, but not the entire thing.

I don’t think the answer is right. RODCs cannot replicate AD information to any other DC or RODC. It must come from a writeable DC and then it stops at the RODC. To get the new RODC to replicate from DC10(which is a DC), one will need to make DC10 a writeable domain controller. If one is trying to replicate from DC1, then you would create a site link bridge pointed to the default site and have it replicate from the original DC1.

I took it about 3 days ago and had about 70% come from V7 alone. seeing some questions from here that werent in v7 that were on test.
This and v7 are enough, make sure to check comments for corrections.

Correct answer is B.
– Cannot replicate from RODC
– RODC cannot be “promoted” to writeable without first “demoting” to member server
– Other answer options do not address demote or promote

B dunderhead correct.
Site links are established automatically. Only 2 sites. No bridges needed. Simple set up.
Rodc cannot replicate outwards.

Answer B (as stated by dunderhead and SD0001)
RODC can not replicate from another RODC, it must replicate from a writable DC.

Answer is B.
And to clarify, please take into consideration this phrase: “For security reasons, client computers in the perimeter network can communicate with client computers in the Branch site only.”
If for security reasons the access from the perimeter network was restricted to the branch site for clients, surely the same should apply for servers in the perimeter network. So no Site Link Bridge (that would communicate the RODC from the perimeter network with DC1 in the Main office)
You need to demote DC10 and promote it as a writeable DC.
