Your network contains an Active Directory domain named contoso.com. The domain contains two
domain controllers named DC1 and DC2. You install Windows Server 2012 on a new computer
named DC3. You need to manually configure DC3 as a domain controller. Which tool should you use?

A.
Server Manager
B.
winrm.exe
C.
Active Directory Domains and Trusts
D.
dcpromo.exe
The question does not specify the domain level, or the OpSys of DC1 and DC2 (W2K3, W2K8, W2k12). You cannot just introduce a server 2012 box into your domain as a domain controller if the domain level is Server 2003. You would need to upgrade your Domain Schema on the existing controllers before you can introduce a more advanced DC, and run /adprep on your existing DCs to bring them up to server 2008 schema. Now you can join the new server 2012 server to your domain and dcpromo it.
