5 Comments on “Which tab would you use to stop an application from running?

  1. researcher says:

The question does not mention which OS this is for. Windows 8 task manager looks different than windows 7 but both have a details tab that can be used to locate the specific program process and end it. For Windows 8, the processes tab itself will not always list all the programs currently running, however, they will be in the details tab.

Bad question. Users can be used as well to find the application and stop it.

Not entirely sure if you can see all applications of other users, definitely not the apps running under system, but since there’s no mention about the user account running the apps “Users” is valid too.
