To copy data into DD Archiver using directory replication, you
need a DD OS 5.0 replication source. Replicating from releases
prior to DD OS 5.0 requires that the data first be imported into an
intermediate Data Domain system running DD OS 5.0. For
example, replication from a system that runs DD OS 4.9 is made
into a non-DD Archiver Data Domain system that runs DD OS 5.0.
Then replication is made from the DD OS 5.0 Data Domain system
into the DD Archiver.

Archiver to Archiver Collection
Archiver or Appliance to Archiver Directory
Appliance to Archiver MTree
